Margherita "Mama" Mucci was born in Montelongo, Italy (Molise region), where she learned the art of creating fresh pasta from her mother. Pasta dough is made from the finest semolina and eggs rolled to ensure thinness and authentic texture.
Mama Mucci Pasta combines old world craftsmanship with modern techniques. Pasta dough is made from the finest semolina and eggs rolled to ensure thinness and authentic texture. The hearty stuffed chef-designed fillings are created from freshest ingredients and intense reductions. Fillings are sautéed, roasted or braised, then rough chopped before blending. Finally, the pasta is pre-cooked and individually flash frozen to lock in the fresh just made taste.
Mama Mucci’s Pasta operates a state of the art HACCP, USDA, FDA approved facility with three production lines having the capacity to produce over 40,000 pounds of pasta per week.
